New Polaris Models May 21, 2024

I see a teaser on the JLC website about Polaris novelties at the end of the month. Interesting that they chose to forego announcing these at W&W. Does anyone know what might be announced, refreshes to existing line or new complications I wonder? Maybe

JLC Polaris Chronograph

I dropped in to the JLC London boutique earlier to pick up a strap and they had a couple of the Polaris Chronographs on display. They are both very nice looking. A good size and weight for me. The silver version seemed to have a bit of a taupe tone in the

Seeing a nicely finished movement to me is a testament to a quality watch. Go for it!

I’d say the most value you can get from a omega speedmaster. The Lemania movement is one of the best and beautiful. Zenith definitely also has a iconic movement can’t go wrong with that either. Ap offshore is also a possibility if you want something bigge

I suspect that, like a lot of brands...

JLC suffers from 'design by committee' where everything is over-thought and driven by 'future style' predictions and questionable focus groups rather than truly creative individuals. I agree that the Polaris may check a lot of boxes on paper, but doesn't
